Relational Intelligence Reading List

JOHN: A couple of people now have asked me about books related to this Relational Intelligence series. So here's a bibliography for the series, with some of my more highly recommended books toward the top of the list:

The Arbinger Institute, Leadership and Self-Deception.

Steven Covey, 7 Habits of Highly Effective People.

Daniel Goleman, Richard Boyatzis, and Annie McKee, Primal Leadership.

Daniel Goleman, Emotional Intelligence and Social Intelligence.

Travis Bradberry and Jean Greaves, Emotional Intelligence 2.0.

Dallas Willard, Renovation of the Heart.

Paul Meier, Don't Let Jerks Get the Best of You.

John Ortberg, Everybody's Normal Till You Get to Know Them.

Henry Cloud, Changes That Heal.

Steve Sacccone, Relational Intelligence.

Peter Senge, et al. The 5th Disclipline and The 5th Discipline Fieldbook.

John, you've motivated me to read Primal Leadership again! Already 90% through it as of today. Thanks again for the great reminder of an awesome book... :)

Way to go, Dave! You're officially farther than me. By the way, picked up Anatomy of Peace this weekend and dove in. Interesting -- it's about what happens to the (fictional) head of "Zagrom," (Lou), when goes away and gets his head together -- the scene he refers to in "Leadership and Self-Deception" as the thing that change his life. So, it's like a PREQUEL to Leadership and Self-Deception!
