Dump Run 2012 (16)
This Spring, for the second year in a row, dozens of TerraNovans spread out into our community to take people's trash away, for free. Just a simple way to bring love to God's world, and to make His love famous. Here are a few of the pics from the day. -

Casa de Esperanza Baja Ministry Trip (17)
What better way to spend Mothers Day Weekend than to make God's love famous amongst a dozen moms and their kids who have had very hard lives? But there is hope ("esperanza" in spanish). The ministry of Casa de Esperanza exists to see God do his work of transformation for those who have had to flee a context of domestic violence and abuse. Our team came down to reach out to the moms, the kids and also to do some construction projects! Why not join us on our next trip in Fall of 2011? -
The Dump Run (33)
Since we are moved to show God's love in simple ways to our neighbors, we decided to mobilize 80 Terra Novans, 12 trailers, and a couple of rented 40 cubic yard trash bins to do the job. Here's the connect: Jesus has taken away all the junk (sin) in our lives and washed us clean! -

UCI International Students "Learn to Surf" Picnic (8)
In October of 2010, we teamed up with the Beyond Borders group at UCI to put on a great event where we hosted 80 students from all over the globe down at Doheny beach. We shared a meal with them and also our surfing skills! We're trusting that we've helped Beyond Borders as they begin to reach these kids! -
Operation Back to School Backpacks (4)
Since kids need backpacks for school and many families are struggling greatly to make ends meet, what better way to show God's love than to provide for them tools that will help them in their education. So we put together 150 backpacks for kids in our community and then in selected places, we got to deliver them! -

Blight Project April 2010 (5)
About two dozen of us got together to help a family in our community transform their front and backyard from a jungle to something that the city would feel good about. The husband is out of work and recently in a car accident that left him unable to care for his yard. They were going to be fined for the lack of upkeep, but now things are looking better. Our thanks to this family because they gave us an opportunity to express our love for God by serving them! -
