Our Summer LIFEgroups

Summer LIFEgroups begin in mid-June and last through July (in most cases). So, it’s a short-term commitment!  For our Summer session we have a wide variety of choices:  groups that meet indoors, outdoors, some that rotate meeting venues, and many that will get your blood pumping! Groups will accomplish four quality meetings during this session.  All groups are based on connecting, studying the scriptures and praying for one another.

Our group curriculum this summer:  Good Dirt. Jesus was a master teacher whose trademark was simple stories with a deep message.  We know them as parables.  His first recorded parable informs us that our lives could be thought of as soil, a certain kind of soil or dirt.  At the end, his listeners were challenged to ask themselves “what kind of dirt am I?”

Good Dirt will explore this “Jesus story” as it explores the challenges that we all face in life (worry, deception, trouble) and also the longing that we all have to make a difference in this world.  As you get to know the story, you will get to know Jesus as well!

Groups will be doing Good Dirt unless indicated otherwise in the “group details” section.

Check out the list of groups available below. For more information about groups in general, or some personal assistance in finding the right group for you, email Lyle Castellaw.
