High School LIFEgroup

high school ministry LIFEgroups.

Our ministry places a high value on relationships, community, and spiritual growth. We seek to utilize life groups as one way of helping these values become realities in teens' lives.

Our LIFEgroups meet during the school year. All of our students meet on Wednesday nights from 7-8:30pm at 7 Whatney (The Hub). We break out into groups and spend time connecting with each other, sharing what we're learning from our study, and praying for one another.

Winter 2018 meetings will begin Feb 7th and end May 2th. No group on April 4th (Spring Break).

our current study:

In addition to the time we have to pray for one another and share what we're going through, each week will feature a short lesson and interactive discussion. We'll be focusing our time together discussing topics that will grow a student's relationship with God. We'll be covering 2 different studies this session. The first will focus on Who God Is, to understand his personality and character. Then we'll be doing a session called "Overwhelmed" that takes a look at overcoming anxiety and high stress situations.

our previous studies:
In the past few sessions we've done a variety of things to help students wrestle with questions and grow in their understanding of who Jesus is and how to follow him. We've worked through a book called, "Can I Ask That: 8 Hard Questions about God & Faith," a video study on the character of God, and the book of James.
